How to Begin:
This tutorial is part of the new and revamped Expedition mode.
- Start the game outside of the Bravo region because dungeons don’t spawn there.
- Request a supply bin immediately, don’t hold onto it for use in another sector.
- Ensure the safety of your supply bin and then confront and defeat the Sector’s Boss.
- Afterward, make your way to Bravo.
- Make sure the Strafer dungeon is the focus of your expedition.
Follow an old superstition and open the mule closest to the dungeon to look for the mission. If you don’t find the mission there, you can choose to either extract or retreat, depending on whether you want to keep your currencies and season pass progression.

The Quest:
- Complete the dungeon as usual, but don’t leave right after.
- Once you’ve completed the dungeon, a quest location will appear in the center of the back wall of the vault. There, you’ll need to find the iPads with symbols.
- See an example of a tablet with location indicators and home button: (“Image 1”)
- These tablets might appear in the new room that opens in the back after you finish the dungeon, in the main boss room, the elevator room, or even in the maze.
- Tablets display symbols on the Left, Center, or Right. These symbols, and their positions, are what you’ll need when entering the code.
- Enter the symbols and try to guess the symbol for the unknown position. Make sure you’re positioning the symbols correctly by checking the home button on the tablet and adjusting your input to match the other tablets. After each guess, press the “enter” key located below the center of the code input.

- If you’ve entered the correct code, a Canister will appear next to the machine. One player must take this Canister out through the elevator and the game will end (it’ll trigger an immediate extraction).
Proceed to the extraction point, eliminate the mobs, and your mission is complete. Be aware, new enemy types will spawn during your extraction. You’ll need to either defeat them or make a swift exit as they are quite challenging.
